Hello, my name is Monica!  

I have been pet sitting for over 20 years and have just recently decided to pursue it professionally. Though I do not have any pets of my own at the moment, in the past I have had a Golden Retriever, two rabbits, and many fish. My family’s dog is actually the inspiration for my business name! 

Colby was my family’s dog of almost 12 years. He loved his Christmas Moose plush, playing soccer, and meeting new people but hated bodies of water. At one point he even dug a moat around one of his water bowls and I ended up being blamed for it! He was such a loving dog and thus it was an easy choice to name my business after him. He inspired a lifetime love for animals and I continue to share that love with every animal under my care. If you would like to see pictures of him, they can be found in the Gallery section.

My current clientele includes dogs, cats, fish, and rabbits. I would love to one day work with other small mammals and even reptiles. I have a soft spot for senior animals but I love working with animals of all ages!

I am bonded and insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas. I am a member of Pet Sitters International. I am a big believer in learning as much as I can about the animals I work with and new ways that I can care for them.
